Cardinals are flying Ohio High School Hockey Dec 30th rankings

Capital Conference White Division St. Charles Cardinals are FLYING.  Standing at 14 W 2 L and 1 Tie in conference play.  The Cardinals of the Southern Comfort division just went 3-0-1 at the Warrior Shoot Out.  Beating Jerome 5-1, Northview 5-2, Hudson 2-0 and a Tie with Walsh at 2-2.  Given none of these teams are currently in the top ten, but the Cardinals now are!  This is a team that may be the replacement for Olentangy Orange, down south.  Rising up out of the White division to attend states.  52 Capital Conference Goals for and only 8 against = respect, anywhere.

Bowling Green Bobcats.  Wow, they rise up again!  Win their Mr. Spots tournament, downing the St. Francis Knights again.  Again with a 6-3 score!  That makes three tournament Championship games, in Three tournaments this season.  This is a team with an identity, a team with confidence and is the club with the most storied winning tradition in Northwest Ohio.

 GAME OF THE WEEK

So now its on!  ST. Johns Titans @ Bowling Green Bobcats Saturday January 4th, 8pm BGSU ice arena.  The NW Ohio conference battle of #1 in State, and District against #2 in District 4 in State.  Prediction this is a tough one numerically its St. Johns 4-2.  Gut says BG 3-2 OT.  So Im going with my Gut.  Bobcats, at home take the win!

So whats happening in Cleveland?  A slug fest.  Lake Catholic and St. Ignatius just keep rolling!  Neither giving an inch, neither showing any signs of letting up.  Its like WW 1, both entrenched in the top two spots in Cleveland and 2,3 state.
